As you read this, you may feel anxious or down. There may be something that has been persistently on your mind, some unfinished business that is holding you back. You might have relationship problems. Or a sense that you are not the person you would like to be.

The first step to peace of mind, if you choose it, can be to talk to a qualified counsellor. Professional therapy offers a unique space, where you will be genuinely listened to without interruption or judgement. It can lead to a feeling of lightness, where the tightness and weight of troubles can fall away.

I will work with you in a way that honours your unique experience of the world. The work will move at a pace that is comfortable and supportive. Together we can explore ways of looking at your experience, finding the answers that are meaningful to you.

Therapy can be about learning to see yourself more clearly and accept who you are: body, mind and spirit. I can help you build self acceptance and compassion.

Some of the issues I can help with include, Anxiety, Depression, Issues affecting young people (16-25), Relationship problems, Family issues, Self-esteem, Identity, Trauma, Stress, Anger, and Bereavement.

My training in Gestalt therapy offers the chance to work creatively, to help breathe new energy into stuck situations.

With this approach, the embodied experience of life is what matters, putting you in touch with the deep feelings and learned patterns that determine who you are and how you appear to others. And working creatively with the different parts and polarities we all have within ourselves.

Three years’ training at The Gestalt Centre in London, and my work with individuals one to one, leave me passionate about the difference therapy can make to people’s lives.

I am a Registered member of the BACP – the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
